I write a weekly column for www.InternetEvolution.com about the wireless and wired Internet as well as writing a mobile blog and producing videos.

Previously, I created the world's first wireless data newsletter, wireless data conference, cellular conference and FM radio subcarrier newsletter. I was instrumental in creating and developing the world's first cellular magazine.

I also helped create and run the first association in the U.S. for the paging and mobile telephone industries.

Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine debuts mobile-related podcasts

Smartphone and Pocket PC magazine (formerly Pocket PC magazine) has started doing podcasts about mobile technologies.

The first podcast includes Hal Goldstein, publisher of the magazine, Rich Hall, the managing editor, Diane Dumas, the new products editor, and Jim Karpen, a professor and Internet "devotee" as he calls himself.

Topics in the podcast include Windows Mobile 5.0, two new mobile portals and top software downloads and top hardware.
